Kristen and Blake had the most perfect spring time garden engagement session at the Lexington Arboretum. They are getting married next summer at the beautiful Moundale Manor in Winchester. I can’t wait to celebrate their big day with them, as you can tell it will be a lot of fun.
Jason and Jessica had their engagement session in November 2020 at Gratz Park in Downtown Lexington. We captured the last signs of fall that evening and it was the perfect night. I loved Jessicas green dress from Baltic Born, it went so good with the gold trees and the golden light. I can’t wait for their April wedding coming up in a few weeks.
Zach and Jessica were married in October 2020 at Tates Creek Presbyterian Church in Lexington, KY with a beautiful reception at a family home. I asked Jessica what her favorite part of the day was as she said, “my favorite part of the day was walking down the aisle with my dad! It’s a moment I always pictured and I will always treasure that symbolic image of my dad handing me over to Zack to begin our new family.” I personally will say my favorite part of the day may have been Zach and Jessicas first look, scroll to see how sweet it was.
Jessica said her advice to other brides would be to take a second and notice the details!! You spend hours and hours planning details and when the big day comes, everything seems more big pictures. “I wish I would have taken the time to go around and appreciate the tiniest of details that I so greatly thought out. That’s also why I’m so grateful you took those images for me so I can now reflect and see what I missed.” Congratulations Zach and Jessica, thank you all so much for giving me the joy of capturing this special day for you all.

Jacob and Kara had their engagement session at the Henry Clay Estate in Lexington, KY. This beautiful October night has me so excited for their wedding. They will be getting married in October 2021 in Louisville.
Nick and Sarah were married on October 10, 2020 near Cincinnati, OH. Yes, that’s right it was on 10/10/2020, what a fun date to have your wedding. They will have a hard time not keeping up with that date. This was my first full wedding back since having my son, AJ, and it was a great one to start back with. Nick and Sarah are the kindest people, their wedding party was so much fun and their day was absolutely beautiful. I hope you all love this fall wedding as much as I do.

You may remember this sweet couple who had their engagement session at the Red River Gorge (you can see that here). Zach and Kara were married in Louisville, KY on March 14, 2020. This wedding was my last wedding before everything shut down, so this may be my most memorable wedding yet. Things were already starting to slowly shut down but the Governor had not yet shut down all events. This was also memorable because I was about 36 weeks pregnant with our sweet AJ ( (scroll down to the bottom to see my big ol bump). But despite all of that this was such a sweet sweet day. If you remember from my engagement blog post I met these two at another wedding I shot and Zach and Kara had a very fun and contagious personality and that was no different on their wedding day. Evan and Madison had their engagement session in November 2019 at Shakervillage in Harrodsburg, KY. What a beautiful and fun fall evening we had. These two will be getting married in October 2020.
Jeff and Sarah had their engagement session in November 2019 at Cherokee Park in Louisville, KY. It was a pretty chilly night as you can tell by the snow but we still had a lot of fun and got some beautiful pictures. I loved that Jeffrey and Sarah’s pups joined us for part of the session.
Connor and Emilie had their engagement session in November 2019 at Keeneland in Lexington, KY. It was a chilly night but you cannot tell. They were so so fun adventuring around Keeneland. These two were supposed to get married in May 2020 but as we all know everything in the world was so different. They decided to do a small destination wedding so they didn’t have to wait to be married. Now they will be getting married in May 2021. I can’t wait to capture their bigger celebration with their friends and family.
Roger and Sarah were married in November 2019 at Buffalo Trace Distillery in Frankfort, KY. There was so much I loved about this day, from the beautiful florals, the outdoor ceremony, the live painting, Sarah’s beautiful dress, the bourbon tasting after the ceremony and everything in between. But my most favorite thing was all of the special little parts of the day that were so important to Sarah; her sister (in love) Christa helping her get in her dress, her first look with her dad and brothers, and her first look with Roger. I could also feel the immense support and love between the whole family and bridal party .It was such an honor to capture such an intimate day for Roger and Sarah.
