Robbie and Allie had their engagement session at a private farm near Northern Kentucky on a beautiful golden evening. I absolutely LOVE Allie’s dress. All the colors went so good together. These two are special to me because the very first wedding I shot as my own boss was Robbie’s brothers wedding back in 2015. I have come quite a long way since then. Robbie and Allie were supposed to get married in December 2020 but they moved their wedding to May 2021 so they would be able to celebrate with more of their loved ones. I can’t wait to celebrate with them soon.

Eric and Daelee were married in October 2019 at Fasig Tipton in Lexington, KY. It was the most beautiful October day and made the perfect day for an outdoor ceremony. I absolutely loved Daelee’s dress from Twirl Bridal Boutique. It fit her so well and was absolutely gorgeous. I hope you all enjoy looking thru these pictures from this sweet day.

Jacob and Katlyn were married in September 2019 at Delta Hotels by Marriott in Westchester, OH. This day was so so sweet and special. The wedding party was a smaller wedding party but I loved that because I felt very close to all the wedding party and family by the end of the day. You could absolutely feel the love these two had for each other, for their families and for the Lord throughout the day. One of my favorite parts of the day was when we had a few moments for the bride and groom portraits and we found the most beautiful bridge to do them. You can’t tell but there was also homecoming going on that night and all the girls were dressed up but they couldn’t take their eyes off our beautiful bride. Jacob and Katelyn have such fun personalities and I think it shows in these pictures. Enjoy.

Zach Wedding and Kara Augustine

I met Zach and Kara at another wedding I shot earlier in 2019. They were on the dance floor the whole time and were SO much fun. I took way too many pictures of them at the reception because they were so contagiously happy and fun together. Zach joked about contacting me in the future when they were ready to be married, well little did I know it was just going to be a few short months later. When they first contacted me I noticed Zach’s last name was Wedding but I thought that was a typo or something, but nope his name is indeed Wedding., so thats why their sign says its a Wedding Wedding! This was such a fun engagement session and completely different than any other engagement session I’ve ever done. I met Zach and Kara at Miguels Pizza close to Natural Bridge for lunch before we started our small hike for this session. As you can tell by looking at these pictures Zach and Kara are so so fun. Their wedding is set for March 2020.

Ryan and Allison were married in September 2019 at Manchester Music Hall in Lexington, KY. This bridal party was so so fun. I felt like best friends with all the girls by the end of the day. The weather also couldn’t have been anymore perfect. One of my favorite details of Allison’s was her beautiful bouquet. The beautiful pinks and maroons were perfect for an early fall wedding.

Y’all not only is this wedding absolutely beautiful but it was FULL of sweetness and sentimental details. Andrew and Blaire were married in July 2019 at Keeneland in Lexington, KY. They also had their rehearsal dinner at The Apiary in Lexington. This wedding was so sweet for me to capture. I am close to the Barnhart family as I’m good friends with Blairs sister and I also shot the wedding of her brother, so it was only fitting for me to capture another BIG event for this sweet family. I hope you all enjoy all the sweet and beautiful moments of this day, Keeneland was the perfect location for an absolutely beautiful day. Favorite part of planning process: We didn’t stress about it! Partially because we had an amazing planner, Lindsay-who took care of us ABOVE and beyond anything we could have ever imagined-and partially because no matter what happened, we were going to get married and that’s what mattered. AJ says his favorite part was, of course… testing the food.

Honeymoon Destination: Disney World for three days, followed by seven days at Vero Beach

Corey and Sarah Beth were married at Warrenwood Manor in Danville, KY in June 2019. It was the most beautiful summer day for a wedding. I loved the sweet pinks in Sarah’s details and flowers. The bridal suite at Warrenwood was the perfect backdrop for Sarah an her bridesmaids for their getting ready pictures. One of my favorite parts of the day was having sweet Pippi (Sarah and Coreys dog) with us all day. She was so so cute in her little tutu. I hope you all love this wedding as much as I do.

Jimmy and Sammy Jo were married at Grace Baptist Church with a reception at The Heartwood in Lexington, KY at the end of June 2019. This wedding was extra special for me because my daughter was one of the flower girls for this wedding (sorry for all the pictures of her cute self that I included in this). My family loves the Lacy’s so much. This big bridal party was a lot of fun. One of my favorite details from this wedding are the floral hoops that the bridesmaids had that were made by Anna Hogan with Covenant Threads.

Kelli Lynn Photography Film Intensive

I have been a photographer now full time for over 3 years but I have only ever shot digital (and will continue to do so), but I have always been interested in learning about film photography. I admire film photographers that I know so much and I think film photography is BEAUTIFUL. However, I knew I was going to need some major guidance. When Kelli (of Kelli Lynn Photography) posted about her Film Photography Intensive I decided this was the time to step out of my comfort zone and do something new and a bit scary. There were 6 photographers (including me) and Kelli at the intensive, and oh my word those ladies have been the most encouraging ladies ever. We spent the first few hours of the intensive talking about things involved with film photography and then we spent the second half doing some hands on film shooting. Y’all the shoot Kelli put together was STUNNING. I have listed the vendors below. These images are not perfect and I definitely have A LOT more to learn but after this class with Kelli I am going to try to learn and shoot more film in 2019, wish me luck. I hope you all enjoy this scary but oh so refreshing leap of faith I took last week.
